Enterprise Applications

Array load balancers provide high availability for a broad range of enterprise applications including Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and Lync, Oracle PeopleSoft and WebLogic, VMware View, SAP NetWeaver, eClinicalWorks and many more. Array APV Series appliances are also ideal for Intranet applications as well as homegrown enterprise applications and services.

SaaS icon

Software-as-a-Service

Array load balancers are simple, yet powerful and scalable, yet cost-effective, making them the perfect choice for supporting secure software-as-a-service (SaaS) cloud offerings. For businesses with a laser focus on scaling a single external-facing cloud application, Array’s offers distinct advantages for Layer-7 traffic management and SSL price-performance.

IaaS icon

Infrastructure-as-a-Service

Flexible physical, virtual and virtualized platform options, integration with homegrown and 3rd party cloud orchestration – including OpenStack, VMware and Microsoft – and support for subscription and pay-as-you-go licensing make Array application delivery a natural fit for infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) providers looking to offer load balancing as a cloud service.

SSL Offload icon

SSL Offloading

Whether you need to offload SSL from servers to ensure the performance and scalability of business-critical applications and services, or offload SSL from virtual ADCs, or provide a scalable means to intercept and inspect encrypted traffic, Array provides the highest-performance, most feature-rich and secure SSL acceleration and offload solution on the market.

AppVelocity

Availability

AppVelocity is Array’s core ADC feature set included with every APV Series physical appliance and vAPV virtual appliance; server load balancing and link load balancing ensure application uptime in the event that servers or ISP links become overburdened or unresponsive.

Performance

Connection multiplexing, dynamic caching, adaptive compression and traffic shaping optimize and accelerate Web and application performance while significantly improving the efficiency of network connections and back end servers.

Security

A security hardened operating system, purpose-built reverse proxy architecture, kernel-level ACLs, packet filtering, DDoS protection and WebWall application security suite, provide a first line of defense and ensure security for business-critical applications.

Control

Ensure persistence, create Layer-7 content switching rules that direct application traffic to specific servers, and manipulate HTTP headers to enhance application functionality without the need for additional application development.

Management & Orchestration

Use Array’s eCloud™ RESTful API to enable orchestration of app delivery functions from cloud and virtualization management platforms including VMware vRealize Orchestrator, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and OpenStack Neutron LBaaS.

AppVelocity-S & GSLB

AppVelocity-S

Available for Array’s APV Series physical appliances, AppVelocity-S includes all of the capabilities in AppVelocity’s core ADC feature set and adds hardware-accelerated SSL encryption and a purpose-built SSL stack.

Designed for superior security and performance, AppVelocity-S has proven immune to vulnerabilities such as Heartbleed, ShellShock and Man-in-the-Middle and is Array’s go-to solution for supporting HTTPS-encrypted Web sites and applications.

Global Sever Load Balancing (GSLB)

Global server load balancing (GSLB) directs traffic to alternate or better-performing sites to ensure application uptime and optimal response times in the event that either network segments or data centers become overburdened or unresponsive.

In addition, GSLB may be used to equalize traffic loads across geographically dispersed sites and route requests based on proximity to optimize application performance.
